This was an initial funding presentation for the Portugal 2020 government sponsored economic development program. The goal was to see if a mini-golf business would be of interest to Portugal 2020; and, as such, whether Opeda Ventures - Golf company would qualify for financial support. The goal was to tell the basic Opeda business story in a SHORT and SIMPLE way. The presentation was SUCCESSFUL in achieving the hoped for backing by Portugal 2020.

Two privately-owned Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) companies in Brazil and Mexico were looking for a new solution to their existing use of landfill only.
The goal was to process the MSW using the latest torrefaction technologies to produce electricity and replace the need to use fossil coal.
A goal in Brazil was also to take existing landfill sites and clean them up with the proposed technology and allow for urban redevelopment.
This was an "investor interest" presentation and led to the NEXT STAGE.

Swiss Institution - Investors
A Fortune 100 company, which would produce the equipment, and a Swiss institution that would provide takeout, long-term funding for the to-be-built Waste-to-Energy plants were planning an investment of $50 million based on a current business plan.
This deck was produced as a summary of the Business Plan.
The result of this effort was the establishment of a new division of the Fortune 100 company.

A Los Angeles real estate developer was looking for 3 tiers of funding - Seed, Working Capital and Project. This deck was for investors with a focus on raising $250,000 of Seed capital.
Major Investor Looking for Renewable Energy Technology
A billionaire private investor approached Maxipar seeking information on transformational renewable energy technologies that it could add to its portfolio of companies. Having worked with Bruce Birkett Associates on other projects, Maxipar asked for this presentation to be prepared for its client.
The presentation goal was to identify a technology opportunity, which needed development funding. The result was interest by the investor until faced with financial reverses that held it back from any new investing.
Medical Asset Financing - Investor Raise Presentation
An individual, currently working for a medical billing factoring company saw an opportunity to strike out on his own.
The related business plan (and this deck), looked to bring in both equity investors (co-owners) and revolving credit investors looking for cash flow in average 18-month notes.

Bruce Birkett Associates had a long-term relationship with Renewable Energy Solutions and its predecessor companies. See three projects below.
The primary goal was to support the development of giant timber bamboo plantations in Southern Africa to support indigenous agriculture. The biomass torrefaction technology would buy the biomass and convert it into non-fossil coal to support renewable clean energy initiatives.

This deck looks at the modular 5,000 hectare bamboo plantation concept and was an executive summary of the related business plan.

This deck was done for a South African investment company interested in the opportunity.
It is more of a concept deck without a proposed investment structure or detailed investor returns.
Terra Joule Farms - Corporate + Investor Deck
This deck was done for general promotional and marketing purposes of the company Renewable Energy Solutions.
A number of farmer groups were involved.
The "Terra Joule" concept was one in which three different crops were planted on 1 hectare plots for each indigenous farmer. One third was bamboo (delayed harvest), another a nut tree (less delayed harvest) and the final third was vegetables (seasonal harvesting). There would be professional management and skills and financial support for each separate farmer. This was a concept summary presentation for stakeholders and funders of the 5,000 hectare bio-energy plantations.
